tried the restaurant on Dickinson St; loved it. The atmosphere was nice and had a homey fill to it, while we waited, we had coffee from the coffee bar. The wait was about 45 min, but it was well worth the wait. We were a party of three, we all ordered the “Kitchen Sink”, delicious, I didn’t think I would be able to eat it all, but I did. Will be back again, and its BYOB!
I went here unknowingly with a friend who said this is the best breakfast/brunch place to eat in the area. She was spot on, I got a special: Pumpkin Creme Stuffed Toast. It was amazing! I’m so coming back here.
I LOVE this place. I am a little late posting a comment. We went here for Mother’s Day Brunch.
The service was excellent. The food was mmmmm Delicious!!! This resturant should be a MUST on your list. I am defintely going back soon!
My son took me for breakfast and now I’m in love with this place. The shrimp and grits were amazing and the quinoa porridge was unbelievable. I’m only on the website now because I was stalking the menu so I know what I’m going to try next. Wonderful service too!
Thanks to Rick the owner. This place is a delight to eat at. The mood, food and servce all combined in one is great.
This place is a must I went the other day with my girlfriend and I’m telling everybody I know about this place I’m ready to call foodnetwork Hat off to the chef great great great great food
Delicious food at a great price! Today (Thurs 9/27) was my first time at the cafe, and it was excellent! I had the turkey panini (fabulous!), my friend had the creme brulee french toast ( fabulous!) and my daughter had pancakes (fabulous!) The portions are large and the food is top quality. Even though I live in New Jersey, I will be back soon!
Green Eggs Cafe is the BEST!!! Can you please create some sort of Nutella Stuffed French Toast breakfast dish for your Menu/Specials? I would come everyday!
I had called earlier in the week to book space for a party of 12 for brunch. When we arrived no one had record of our reservation. However, the manager was extremely accommodating and helpful. He was able to seat all of us within 30 minutes and gave us a few dishes as compensation for our inconvenience. Thank you for saving my birthday celebration! Everyone had a great meal and we will definitely be back.
My team at work gathers for a birthday luncheon once every other month. A team member suggested Green Eggs Cafe’. I ordered the chicken and waffles. DELICIOUS. The poached egg was perfect. The hot sauce hollandaise sauce was superb. The flavor of the waffle was outstanding. It was sooo good I had my boyfriend take me there the following Saturday. I would highly recommend this dish. And the hot chocolate.
OMG, I am still talking about it !!! I visited the 2nd St. Location for the first time on yesterday. Needless to say, it won’t be the last time! The food was outstanding and so was the service! Definitely the best breakfast in the city, hands down!
tThe food was excellent. The service was great and fast. I like the fresh quality of the food and the portion size was nice. I have been looking forward to trying out this restaurant for months now and I am extremely happy about finally being able to make it there. I will be returning and telling more people about the restaurant…
LOL, I am still talking about it !!! I visited the 2nd St. Location for the first time on yesterday. Needless to say, it won’t be the last time! The food was outstanding and so was the service! Definitely the best breakfast in the city, hands down!
The food was awesome, locally grown, and fresh,i had the poached eggs on top of sweet potatoe hash,NICEEEE,and i had the kid portion of the red velvet panckes, again!,NICEEE,and they wasnt too sweet.
loved it
This is truly the best brunch/lunch place. The food is always fresh and the portions are very generous, service is great, really cute ambiance, best coffee (La Colombe). My favorite is the grilled cheese but I switch out to multigrain bread. The peanut butter French Toast is to die for, it hits the spot without being overly heavy. In the summer the Caprese salad or the Crab cake sandwich are a must. Let’s not forget this place is BYOB so grab the bubbly for a great brunch.
PS. This is my first food review, ever!
This is best breakfast/brunch place in the city !!! You might experience a small wait, however, it is worth it … enjoy
I went to the Dickinson location this past saturday with my sister…the chicken waffles benedict!!! OMG…delicious! My sister had the special which was strawberry cheesecake french toast and she loved it! Atmosphere cozy…waiter “PAT” was so warm and friendly. It had a homey kind of feeling and atmosphere. We got there early around 8:30am Saturday and already the place was practically full. Around 9am the doors were revolving and every seat filled or being filled which says alot about this place and the food. I even told a couple of the waiter who were all warm and friendly that I should refer them to the “FOODIES” channel.. This place is a definite “MUST VISIT”.. ENJOY
ABSOLUTLEY WONDERFUL & EFILLING FOOD. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED. DEFINITELY WILL BE BACK AT LEAST ONCE BEFORE MOTHER’S DAY, BECAUSE MOTHER’S DAY BRING MY MOTHER IN LAW & SISTER IN LAW, WELL MY HUSBAND IS LOL
